Charles F. Hofacker has a Ph.D. in Mathematical Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is Carl DeSantis Professor of Business Administration and Professor of Marketing at the College of Business of Florida State University. His research interests are at the intersection of marketing and information technology. His work in that and other areas has appeared in the Journal of Marketing Research, Psychometrika, Management Science, Journal of Management, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Advertising Research, and other outlets. He was first Co-Editor then Editor of the Journal of Interactive Marketing from 2009-2014.

The highest salary offered for Amrita students this academic year is a whopping 52 lakhs per annum which is by Atlassian. Microsoft has offered 43 lakhs per annum as salary and Cisco hired 27 students for a CTC of 29.18 lakhs per annum. Reputed companies like Atlassian, Microsoft, Cisco, Amazon, Mckinsey and Metro have already visited the campuses and have hired the talents from Amrita.
Placements for all eligible students have always been the hallmark of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Amrita has always been a dream destination for students who wish to fulfill their aspirations of working in their dream companies and for recruiters who are in search of the best talents of the country.
With more than 80 reputed companies visiting the campus since the placement season began in July 2019, more than 82 per cent of its BTech students are already placed in various organisations with good salary packages as per industry standards. A good percentage of students opted for higher studies.
Seven students are hired by Amazon at a CTC of 28 lakhs per annum. At present, the average CTC for B.Tech and M.Tech students of Coimbatore campus are 6.3 lakhs and 6.4 lakhs per annum respectively. During this placement season’s internship drives, more than 50 companies including Microsoft, Reliance Industries, EY India, and Zoho have visited the campus so far for hiring the students and have offered stipend up to Rs. 80000 per month. The internship drive for 2021 passing out batch also has commenced and Microsoft has already given internship offer to 8 students of 2021 passing out B.Tech batches.
